Why Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is literally a gem: A tear-shaped gem hanging off the southern tip of India. Placed number one in New York Time’s 100 places to go in 2010, it surpasses beach paradises Thailand the Maldives and Fiji in our humble opinion. But it has so much more than a spectacular coastline of pristine ocean with year-round surfing. Sri Lanka has a diverse inland geography of mountains, tea plantations, plains and seven World Heritage Sites, such as Kandy, the ancient capital, and the rock fortress of Sigiria.

Add to this the warm-hearted, tolerant and English-speaking people and you will see why people fall in love with the place and always want to return.
